We are finally here! A little tired, a little worn, but super excited. Things around here are starting to take shape....
We had the floors installed over the week..... my sweeping helper.....
We decided to do laminate. I love it. We have had hardwood in the past and this just takes a beating better. Feels a little different underfoot, but I think it looks great!
Walls are going a soft white to match the trim...... Something like this.....
Would you like to take a seat? Looks comfy right? Ha! Craigs List find. Soon to be painted soft white and antiqued by moi and upholstered, not by moi.... just need to find a snazzy fabric...

Remember these? Keeping the chair finish as is. I think it will add some warmth to the kitchen ( a whole other post). These chairs look comfy too right? Chairs are like shoes to me.... its a sickness.

You might find that I ump around a bit room to room. I like to do little bits to every room at the same time. These are the projects that are up first. We have nowhere to sit! Ha! Painting starts soon!
