Can't Get You Out of My Mind......

Yesterday was a good day... kids at school, husband off work, breakfast in a restaurant that actually does not give you crayons at the table, and some antique and thrift store shopping..... Oh and did I mention the gigantic dark chocolate ice cream cone with lemon custard ice cream and dark chocolate chips..... yeah good day.

So at one of the antique shops I spotted some chairs like these......

30 BUCKS EACH ..... just needs a new cushion. Now in my previous post I talked about getting something a little more modern as my end chairs.... Ohhhh but how I loved these chairs..... not modern, but kind funky and interesting. I think I might have to go back and get them.

The people at this particular store I am convinced probably think I'm nuts... or obsessed.... or have some sort of addiction to shopping ( which might just be true.... not the actually buying but the constant addiction to the hunt ). I stop at the store a lot.... on the way to pick up the kids from school.

How could I not stop? I mean what if they have something I haven't seen? What if I want it and someone else gets it? Mind you these are things in my imagination that are there that I am sure I would want so I just have to make sure I get them...... Mental patient here yes......

So anyway back to the chairs..... Since this post began I have convinced myself that I have to go back to get the chairs, so now there is the dilemma or lets say challenge ( I mean this is not really a problem ) is to get some sort of modernity in there. I could add something more modern to the table.......

I could limit the color palette to simplify......

Already going to add some modern art and photography........

I will report back soon if I shoved them in my car and brought them home! Cross your fingers they are still there!
